Felix Pakleppa

Rechtsanwalt Felix Pakleppa hat Rechtswissenschaften in Bonn und Passau studiert. Seine berufliche Laufbahn begann er bei einem regionalen Arbeitgeberverband sowie bei der Bundesvereinigung der Deutschen Arbeitgeberverbände. Seit 1997 ist er für das deutsche Baugewerbe tätig, zunächst im Geschäftsbereich Sozial- und Tarifpolitik des ZDB. Im Jahr 2001 wurde er stellvertretender Leiter dieses Bereichs und anschließend Leiter der Abteilung Sozialpolitik. 2007 übernahm er die Leitung der Hauptabteilung Recht im ZDB und beschäftigte sich umfassend mit Fragen des Wirtschafts-, Vergabe-, Bauvertrags- und Umweltrechts. Parallel dazu wurde er zum Justiziar der Bundesvereinigung Bauwirtschaft ernannt. Zwei Jahre später berief ihn der Vorstand des ZDB in die Geschäftsführung, bevor er 2011 zum Hauptgeschäftsführer des Spitzenverbands der Deutschen Bauwirtschaft aufstieg. Sein zentrales Anliegen ist es, die Bedeutung der mittelständischen Bauunternehmen und deren Leistungsfähigkeit stärker in den politischen Fokus zu rücken und für faire Rahmenbedingungen einzutreten. // Lawyer Felix Pakleppa studied law in Bonn and Passau. He began his professional career at a regional employers‘ association and at the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations. He has worked for the German construction confederation since 1997, initially in the ZDB's social and collective bargaining policy division. In 2001, he became Deputy Head of this division and subsequently Head of the Social Policy Department. In 2007, he took over as Head of the Legal Department at the ZDB and dealt extensively with issues relating to commercial, procurement, construction contract and environmental law. At the same time, he was appointed legal advisor to the German Construction Association. Two years later, the ZDB board appointed him to the management board before he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the German Construction Confederation in 2011. His central concern is to bring the importance of medium-sized construction companies and their performance more into the political focus and to advocate for fair framework conditions.
