Dr. Jeanne-Marie Ebhauer

Portraitfoto von Dr. Jeanne-Marie Ebhauer / Peter Neusser/Baureferat Bio EN: Dr. Jeanne-Marie Ehbauer has been head of the Munich Building Department with its approximately 4,000 employees since September 2022. Her responsibilities include the planning, construction and maintenance of roads, bridges and subway construction, the river Isar, the planning and the design of public spaces and the built green infrastructure as well as most of Munich’s public buildings, including Germany's largest municipal school and daycare building program. From 2014 to 2020, she headed the construction department of the City of Bremerhaven. Before and after that, the Karlsruhe native work-ed for over ten years as a consultant in the area of her doctorate: ecological urban and building construction planning. During her interdisciplinary doctorate and studies of ar-chitecture in Karlsruhe and at the ETH Zurich with a focus on urban planning, she worked in several architectural offices in all phases. Bio DE: Seit September 2022 leitet Dr.-Ing. Jeanne-Marie Ehbauer das Münchner Baureferat mit etwa 4000 Mitarbeitenden. In ihrer Verantwortung liegen unter anderem der Straßen-, Brücken- und U-Bahn-Bau, die Gestaltung öffentlicher Plätze und Grünflächen sowie der Hochbau mit Deutschlands größten kommunalen Schul- und Kitabauprogramm. Von 2014 bis 2020 hat sie das Baudezernat der Seestadt Bremerhaven geführt. Davor und danach war die gebürtige Karlsruherin über zehn Jahre als Beraterin tätig im Fachbereich ihrer Promotion, der ökologischen Stadt- und Hochbauplanung. Während der interdis-ziplinären Promotion und des Studiums der Architektur in Karlsruhe und an der ETH Zü-rich mit dem Schwerpunkt Stadtplanung arbeitete sie in mehreren Architekturbüros in allen Leistungsphasen.
