WELEDA Cradle Campus - logistics center made of wood and rammed earth. A light house of sustainability.

On a 72,000 m² site in Schwäbisch-Gmünd, the Michelgroup is currently realising one of the most sustainable logistics buildings in Europe with the new ‘Weleda Logistics Campus’. The project comprises administration, logistics areas and a high-bay warehouse and has already been awarded the DGNB Platinum pre-certificate. The main building materials are wood, concrete and clay, which not only emphasises the sustainability, but also the authenticity and local identity of the project - a role model for sustainable construction.
