Lecture description

The panel will discuss three topics in 15-minute segments:

1. Construction industry: The construction industry is a key industry in Germany in economic, socio-political and structural terms. The crisis, which has now lasted far too long, must continue to be combated by all means. What successes have already been achieved and what additional measures need to be implemented?

2. Housing construction: Adequate and affordable housing will continue to occupy us in 2025 and in the years that follow. The topic has important social and economic aspects. It is a political focus for both reasons.

3. Building type E: Building type E is intended to enable simple and experimental construction. This should make construction cheaper and faster. How far have we got with the implementation of building type E and what needs to happen for it to be a success?
