Innovative steps for BIM Germany: measures from the new position paper

The BIM Germany Advisory Board has published a position paper on the strategic direction and further development of building modelling (BIM). It emphasises the importance of digitalisation in the construction industry, including trends such as digital twins, robotics and artificial intelligence, which are having a major impact on the industry. The advisory board identifies nine fields of action to drive digitalisation forward and calls for all parties involved to work together as partners.

In the keynote speech by Prof. Dr Joaquin Diaz, initial measures will be presented, followed by a discussion round with other BIM Advisory Board members and Federal Building Minister Geywitz.
