Deconstruction of buildings - circular construction method for reinforced concrete elements from the demolition of buildings - BDA: Building turnaround research practice

The research project aims to investigate the dismantling of reinforced concrete buildings destined for demolition into reusable elements and the assembly of the resulting components into new buildings at other locations.  This construction method can achieve considerable savings in terms of manufacturing energy and resource consumption for new buildings, while at the same time reducing the amount of mineral construction waste.
