Linking the object recognition with the component-related condition assessment in a laser scan-based BIM as-built model enables the AI-supported output of energy-efficient refurbishment scenarios, including their eligible refurbishment measures. By importing the BIM model and the upcoming measures into the CAFM system, a loss-free entry directly into the maintenance process is possible.
Dr. Seibel and Dr. Duvenbeck outline a path from the laser scan-based point cloud to AI-based area recognition of rooms, doors and windows to the components of the systems. In the PLAN4 building check tool, an inspection is carried out on this database to record the status of the most important assets. The BIM model created is imported into RIB FM in IFC format, where specific measures are then derived from the conditions and processed.
