Influence of thermal bridges on the energy efficiency of buildings

Buildings are responsible for 38% of CO2 emissions worldwide. The level of insulation of buildings play a key role. Most countries have the goal in their environmental and sustainability programs that buildings increase energy efficiency. The better buildings are insulated and become more airtight, the more important thermal bridges become, especially structural thermal bridges such as balconies. Details then often decide on the quality, performance and thermal break elements take on a much more important role. This presentation is about the importance of thermal bridges, especially with increasing energy efficiency of buildings and solutions with thermal break element technology.
