Biography

Ali Muhammad is an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Large Structure Production in the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense. He obtained his Ph.D. in the field of robotics from Tampere University of Technology in Finland. Since 2001, he has been involved in the research on several robotics projects ranging from industry, healthcare, agriculture to nuclear fusion and space. He has authored and co-authored over 42 publications in the fields of robotics, control, teleoperation, haptics, modelling and simulation and formal validation and verification of control system. He has over 20 years of experience of implementing and coordinating several national and international projects in industry and academia, where he has led multinational and multidisciplinary teams. For past 10 years, he has coordinated several EU projects focused on the acceleration of robotics startups across Europe.
