Aitor Arriola received the M.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Navarra, Spain, in 2011. Since 1999, he has been with the Communications Group of IKERLAN Technological Research Center, Spain. From 2006 to 2008, he was with the RF Component Design and Modeling (RFCDM) Group of Imec, Belgium, as visiting researcher. Since 2021 he is the Team Leader of Smart Connectivity in IKERLAN. He has participated in several national and international research projects involving the design and measurement of wireless devices and antennas. His research interests include wireless channel emulation, Electromagnetic Compatibility and antennas for industrial applications.
