OPC UA is a strong candidate to standardize access and control of robots to really leverage and popularize GenAI for industrial robotics. As any software system, GenAI is a GIGO (Garbage In Garbage Out) system. The LLMs will need standard semantic interfaces to machines and robots, and its inputs and outputs need to be of high quality and semantically interoperable. In other words, with predefined information models, any client/master should be able to move any slave/robot.
