Takuro Kato graduated in Chemistry at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. For more than 10 years he works for the analytical instrument business of Nittoseiko Analytech Europe (formerly part of Mitsubishi Chemical Europe). As Chief Technical Manager he is responsible for Technology transfer between Nittoseiko Analytech Japan and Europe and heads the application laboratory and technical support in Europe. Takuro Kato is also member of several standardization commitees at DIN, CEN and ASTM and actively involved in standard method development, especially concerning sum parameters for analysis of PFAS.
