Biography
I have a background as a researcher in microbiology and infection biology, with experience at the Septomics Research Center and the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology – Hans Knöll Institute in Jena. During my academic career, I earned my Dr. rer. nat. degree in microbiology, focusing on the interactions between fungal pathogens and innate immune cells. In 2021, I transitioned from research to industry and joined Analytik Jena as a Product Manager for qPCR. In this role, I am responsible for managing Analytik Jena’s real-time PCR cyclers and supporting customers in applying this technology effectively in their workflows. Drawing on both my scientific expertise and product management experience, I am passionate about bridging the gap between research needs and technological solutions. In this talk, I will share insights into 21 CFR Part 11-compliant qPCR with the qTOWER iris.
