Dr. Janina Bolling

Janina Bolling holds a degree in agricultural engineering with a specialization in horticulture. In 2006, she earned her doctorate on the topic of non-destructive quality assessment of fruit and vegetables using laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy at the Faculty of Agriculture and Horticulture at Humboldt University in Berlin in collaboration with the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB). She then worked at the ATB on various projects as a postdoctoral researcher and project manager. From 2019 to 2022, she was a project manager at OpTecBB e.V., the Association of Optical Technologies in Berlin and Brandenburg, with a focus on biophotonics. Since October 2022, she has been head of the Spectaris Association for Analysis, Bio and Laboratory Technology (ABL) and coordinates, among other things, the activities related to LADS.
