Christian Katzer, Ph.D., joined Materion Balzers Optics as a product specialist and later transitioned to the product management team. Today he is part of the of product management team at the Materion Balzers Optics production site in Jena, Germany, and supports customers in finding the best filter solution for their specific application. He holds a doctorate degree in physics with a focus on thin-film physics and optics. His Ph.D. research was especially centered around the basic physics of thin films.
