Adriana Michels

Adriana joined Olink Proteomics in 2022 and currently serves as Field Application Scientist within the Proteomic Sciences Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific, following the acquisition of Olink in 2024. In her role, she supports academic and industry partners in the design and execution of large-scale proteomics studies for biomarker discovery, translational research, and precision medicine applications. She works closely with customers on cohort strategy, study structure, workflow implementation, and data interpretation to ensure robust and reproducible results in high-multiplex affinity-based proteomics workflows. Adriana holds a PhD in Molecular Cancer Biology from the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany. Prior to joining Olink, she supported qPCR and dPCR technologies at Thermo Fisher Scientific and spent over ten years in drug discovery and translational research, contributing to projects from early mechanistic studies to biomarker-driven development. She is based in Munich, Germany.
