Discover the future of lab automation with LADS OPC UA. This powerful new standard uses robust industrial technology (OPC UA) to seamlessly integrate diverse lab equipment and connect your lab to enterprise systems, enabling effortless multi-vendor control and accelerating research and development. In Japan, JAIMA (the Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers’ Association), in collaboration with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, has launched a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) project to evaluate the practical applicability of LADS, using a self-driving flow synthesis system as a model case. In this presentation, we will introduce the core concepts of LADS and share the current status, key insights, and initial results from our ongoing PoC activities.
