Safety is the first priority at Air Liquide and above all, it is our license to operate. The safety of our customers and employees is taken very seriously and we strive to continually improve communications related to safety and the safe handling of gases.
The use of gas cylinders has become ubiquitous in both mobile and stationary analytical labs. However, they should only be used by those adequately trained in appropriate handling and safety techniques. This presentation will examine safety basics related to good cylinder handling practices including handling, storage, EIGA connections and valves. Additional emphasis will be placed on regulator choice (single vs. double stage) and the use of gas filled cylinders.
