Broadly speaking, there are 2 types of analysis. First, analysis undertaken at off-site locations. This type of analysis is typically performed for production controls to measure GHG emissions, air monitoring, engine exhaust measurement and control and safety detection. These analyses often require calibration mixtures which are placed in vehicles from one location to the next and the analyst must handle the cylinders at each analysis location. For these mobile users of mixtures, safer and easy-to-use cylinders are essential. The second type analysis is undertaken in Industrial and Research Labs where analysis is undertaken directly in their laboratory where the cylinder is in close proximity to the analyzer, an ergonomic cylinder valve would be appreciated.
Whether the analysis performed is for mobile or stationary applications, the calibration mixtures used by a large segment of analysts require high quality and precision to perform analysis in their specific area. Users performing these types of analysis are primarily looking for safety, improved ergonomics and ease of use. This presentation will introduce LABTOP - a new concept that integrates the pressure regulator and valve and is dedicated to analytical applications.
The main customer benefits of LABTOP are:
Work safely: no access to high pressure with the integrated regulator, on/off valve for efficient closure as well as a shock absorbing cap for fall protection.
Save gas, time & money: no wasted gas owing to a permanent gauge - the gas mixture is ready to use - no need for an expensive regulator.
Gain performance of the calibration process with stable pressure regulation.
Maintain gas quality with a backflow protection (non return valve).
