Lecture description

Accurate characterization of carbohydrates in food products and biomass is critical for understanding nutritional value, process optimization, and bioresource utilization. In this lecture the use of Antec Scientific ALEXYS™ Carbohydrate Analyzer in conjunction with SweetSep™ columns to perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis of diverse carbohydrate species will be presented. This integrated approach enabled high-resolution separation and precise quantification of monosaccharides, oligosaccharides, and polysaccharides across multiple sample matrices. The applications will demonstrate the excellent reproducibility, sensitivity, and robustness, highlighting the utility of Antec Scientific hardware and chemistry for comprehensive carbohydrate profiling in complex food and biomass samples.
