Biography
After her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Milan, she pursued her studies at the University of Turin, with a master’s degree in clinical forensic chemistry and doping control,
with a particular interest in the field of mass spectrometry. For her master thesis she worked in the Mass Spectrometry Unit in the Department of Molecular Biotechnology and Health
Sciences of the University of Turin, where she focused on the use of HPLC-MS and GC-MS techniques for the development of methods for the selective identification of glucosinolates
and isothiocyanates in the Brassicaceae family. During her master’s degree, she also spent a period abroad as part of the Erasmus+ for traineeship programme, working at the Centre
National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Grenoble (France) at the Institute of Structural Biology (IBS), where she worked mainly on intact proteins in the mass spectrometry platform.
In September 2024 she started a PhD at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry (IAC) at BOKU University as part of MobiliTraIN, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network. Her
work is about establishing measurement standards for Small Molecule Bioanalytical Methods Based on Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry.
