Prof. Dr. Yuanyue Li
Biography
Yuanyue Li is a ZJU 100 Young Professor and Principal Investigator at the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University. His research lies at the interface of mass spectrometry, artificial intelligence, and big-data analytics, with a focus on developing computational methods for metabolite and proteome identification. He received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Xiamen University and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and the University of California, Davis. His work includes the introduction of spectral entropy for mass spectrometry data analysis, the development of Flash Entropy Search for ultrafast large-scale tandem mass spectral matching, and contributions to the Group-DIA method for improved detection of low-abundance proteins. His current research focuses on the systematic annotation of unknown metabolites through the integration of machine learning, public repositories, and large-scale clinical and biomedical datasets.
