Prof. Dr. Rasa Pauliukaite

Professor Rasa Pauliukaite is a chemist, the leading Chief Researcher at the Department of Nanoengineering and head of the Laboratory of Functional Nanomaterials. She obtained her PhD in Physical Sciences at the Institute of Chemistry, Vilnius, in 1998. Rasa gained her experience in postdoc projects in Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Portugal. Her more than 20 years of experience lies in developing materials for sensors and optimising their architecture to achieve optimal analytical parameters, such as sensitivity, stability, selectivity, etc. She is also currently working in the same field and has supervised 7 PhD students so far. She has extensive experience in international collaboration with various academic institutions around the world.
