Biography
Ondřej Peterka is a postdoctoral research in the Mass Spectrometry group at the University of Pardubice, Department of Analytical Chemistry. He received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the same university in 2021. His research focus is mass spectrometry and its coupling with liquid chromatography or supercritical fluid chromatography, applied mainly in lipidomic analysis and cancer biomarker research. He obtained several scientific awards, for example, the Prize of V. Hanuš for best mass spectrometry paper (Czech Spectroscopic Society J.M.M.) and Neuron Prize for Connecting Science and Business. He is an author of 12 articles in peerreviewed international journals, 4 book chapters, 5 oral presentations, and coauthor more than 50 lectures. At the same time, he is a senior analyst in Lipidica a.s., which is a spin-off company of the University of Pardubice and the FONS JK group, focusing on practical application of non-invasive and early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer based on lipidomic profile in body fluids.
