Kerstin Vogel

Kerstin Vogel has been working in Analytical Research at Dow in Germany since 2005, holding various positions in Core R&D as well as Manufacturing & Engineering. She is currently Senior Analytical Manager at Dow’s Stade site, where she leads complex, non‑routine analytical activities supporting production and R&D projects. Her responsibilities include defining analytical research strategies, driving advanced analytical problem solving, and supporting technology development in close collaboration with internal and external partners. She is also strongly engaged in coaching and developing technical talents. She holds a Diploma degree in Marine Environmental Science with a focus on Geochemistry from the University of Oldenburg, Germany. Her scientific work focuses on advanced inorganic and polymer‑related analytical methodologies, including the application of single‑particle ICP‑MS for the characterization of polymeric microparticles, SEC‑ICP‑MS for silicon‑organic components, and IC‑ICP‑MS for trace‑metal speciation (e.g., vanadium and chromium). She has authored at least five peer‑reviewed scientific publications and has delivered more than twenty scientific presentations during both her academic and industrial career.
