Dr. Sébastien Rolle

Sébastien Rolle is a Market Manager Green Transformation at Shimadzu Europa GmbH, based in Duisburg, Germany. Combining strong expertise in new energies (batteries, fuel cells) and analytical chemistry (spectroscopy, GC MS, electrochemistry), he works at the interface of technology and business to support the green transition. After several sales engineering and area management roles in France and Northern Europe at Shimadzu and BioLogic, he has built a solid track record in prospecting, key account management, dealer coordination and the design of regional sales strategies. Earlier in his career, he gained experience as an application specialist in industrial laboratories and as an educational coordinator, teaching analytical chemistry to medical students. Sébastien holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the Université de Bourgogne, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration and advanced degrees in chemical analysis and biochemistry, all obtained with honours. He is recognized for his communication skills and his ability to translate complex scientific challenges into concrete, value creating solutions for customers.
