1993 to present Research Scientist at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany (former Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe) Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research Department Atmospheric Aerosol Research (IMK-AAF).
Since 2014: Leader of Research Group “Aerosol-Cloud Processes”.
Since 2007: Deputy Head of IMK-AAF.
Jan to Mar 2004: Visitor scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) hosted by Dr. Andy Heymsfield, Department for Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology.
1997 to 2014: Leader of research group „Stratospheric Aerosols and Cloud Physics“.
