Dr. Michael Witting

PD Dr. Michael Witting studied Applied Chemistry with a focus on biochemistry at the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences and obtained his PhD from the Technical University of Munich in 2013. He performed his habilitation at the same university in 2024. Since 2021, he has been heading the metabolomics team at the Metabolomics and Proteomic Core Facility at Helmholtz Munich. His research interests are the development of novel methods for LC-MS-based metabolomics, including ion mobility, as well as novel data analytical methods using orthogonal parameters for metabolite identification.
