Dr. Denis Grote-Koska

In patient care Dr. Denis Grote-Koska has the function of an expert in clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine in the central laboratory of the Medizinische Hochschule Hannover. There he has the position of a senior clinical chemist and acts as head of the therapeutic drug monitoring and drugs of abuse sections. He shows responsibility for the accreditation status as quality manager of the institute. Moreover, Dr.Grote-Koska is the director of the RfB calibration laboratory in Hannover (Reference Institute for Bioanalytics). As such he offers calibration services for the IVD industry and is mainly involved in applied research with regard to standardization and metrological traceability in clinical chemistry. Amongst others he is chair of the traceability committee of the IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine) and develops international standards of laboratory medicine at ISO as designated expert in standardization of the field (e. g. ISO 15193, ISO 17511).
