Dr. Christoph Gasser

Dr. Christoph Gasser is a Vienna-based scientist and entrepreneur specializing in innovations in the field of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and pectroscopy for inline monitoring of complex process streams. In 2018, he co-founded usePAT GmbH, a TU Wien spin-off developing ultrasonic add-ons for PAT probes to improve sensitivity, selectivity, and stability for pharmaceutical and chemical applications, and led feasibility studies, prototyping, and team management. Previously, he conducted research at TU Wien’s Institute of Chemical Technologies & Analytics (2012–2019) and earned a PhD in Technical Chemistry with a thesis on tunable filters in mid-infrared and Raman spectroscopy. He has co-authored 14 peer-reviewed publications and 20 conference contributions and is an inventor on patents related to contactless/inline process analysis.
