Lecture description
NFDI4Microbiota, as a consortium within the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), is committed to transforming microbiological research by making data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and open. We support the full spectrum of microbiological data, originating from individual microorganisms to study their genetic and metabolic characteristics to complex microbiomes including interactions with hosts and environments. In this talk, we will present NFDI4Microbiota’s comprehensive service spectrum, which supports researchers throughout the entire research life cycle. This includes our services ranging from tools to generate Data Management Plans, Electronic Lab Notebooks, the storage solutions Aruna, the data processing platforms CloWM and much more. We will also highlight our training program, designed to empower scientists with the skills and knowledge needed to handle microbiological data and supporting tools efficiently.
