Peter Schiefer

Peter Schiefer currently serves as President and CEO of the Automotive division at Infineon Technologies, the largest semiconductor company in Europe. He also is a member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at SAIC Infineon Automotive Power Modules. Established in 2018, this is a joint venture of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and Infineon. Before Peter Schiefer took over his current role, he was Head of Infineon Operations and responsible for the Group’s production management, supply chain, and procurement. Prior to this, he held several top management positions within Infineon, for example President of the Power Management & Multimarket division and Head of Operations of the Industrial & Multimarket division. Under his leadership, Infineon became the world leader in automotive semiconductors.
