Maximilian Eckes

Maximilian Eckes holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Social Sciences from the Université de Fribourg, Switzerland, where he specialized in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Finance. His bilingual education, conducted in German and French, reflects his intercultural competence. With over 20 years of professional experience, Maximilian’s career began beyond the automotive industry, including roles in e-commerce at Swisscom and market entry strategies for Panasonic/Sanyo Europe. Transitioning to the BMW Group, he initially worked in Financial Services before contributing to the development of BMW i’s multi-channel direct sales model, as well as overseeing the launch of a Corporate Car Sharing program in the U.S. Currently, Maximilian focuses on driving business development for urban mobility solutions, collaborating with city planners across Europe to create and implement sustainable mobility concepts. His international experience in Switzerland, England, the U.S., and Italy provides him with a broad and well-rounded perspective on the future of mobility. Maximilian’s commitment to innovative and sustainable solutions makes him as a valuable contributor to discussions on mobility and the automotive industry's future.
