Andre Bechtold serves as President, SAP Industries & Experiences, leading SAP’s industry strategy and customer-centric innovation. In this role, he is responsible for advancing SAP’s industry footprint, ensuring that deep industry expertise and business process excellence remain critical differentiators in the market. Additionally, Andre oversees product and solution learning, driving enablement opportunities for customers, partners, and employees to maximize the value of SAP’s innovations. His area of responsibility also includes the SAP demo environment, customer references, value prototyping, the SAP Experience Centers, and the AppHausnetwork—delivering engaging, outcome-driven experiences that showcase SAP’s business impact. Under Andre’s leadership, SAP Industries & Experiences strengthens its role in shaping industry transformation by delivering AI-powered insights, hyper-personalized prototypes, and industry-specific business cases. His team empowers global and regional sales teams with the tools and expertise to elevate customer engagements, accelerate decision-making, and drive long-term success. Andre's journey at SAP began as a student in 2001. Over the years, Andre has held several management positions in Global Support Operations, Development, and Strategic Financial Planning. From 2016 to 2017, Andre led the product management and launch of the Digital Boardroom. From 2019 to 2021, Andre served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of Strategy & Corporate Services, where he played a pivotal role in shaping SAP’s strategic direction. He contributed to the company’s transformation into a cloud-based enterprise and led the introduction of RISE with SAP, driving SAP’s evolution toward a more agile, customer-centric future. Andre's strategic vision and leadership continue to drive SAP's success, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of innovation and customer satisfaction.
